Our purpose
Our mission is to improve and maintain the welfare of all its members on all matters arising out of their employment at TATA Communications in Canada. Our duty is to establish and maintain collective bargaining for the benefit of the workers within its jurisdiction and to conduct a never-ceasing effort to secure just compensation for the membership. Reasonable hours of toil and working conditions conducive to safety, good health and full enjoyment of life are other goals we wish to pursue as well. We do hereby join together to be known as the CANADIAN OVERSEAS TELECOMMUNICATIONS UNION which shall operate as a labour, benevolent, fraternal and democratic organization.
